When I thought for the first time about original jewelry watches, I had several famous brands in my mind. It is true that the very first names that come to your mind are those, so to say, in sight. Long story of success

After Roger Dubuis graduated from Swiss Horology School (as a star-pupil), he was just twenty when he got his first employment. During the following twenty years he worked intensively at different positions for the great watch manufactures of Geneva. Thus, he became a master specialized on the complicated watch movements.
Independence
Roger Dubuis became independent in 1980 when he opened his own small repair workshop, while he was receiving the orders for developing and creating watch movement details. Quite soon, Roger Dubuis was considered to be a specialist capable to solve very unusual problems. So, Geneva designers, helpless to some extent, haunted his workshop's threshold providing him with numerous orders.
Carlos Dias
He would still have been pulling chestnuts out of the fire for somebody, if he hadn't found himself in Carlos Dias's atelier. In 1995 Roger Dubuis together with Carlos Dias started producing their first own timepieces. Dias' good connections with the renowned watch collectors contributed to the fast Company's advancement.
Personal and unique
Roger Dubuis admits that they weren't ready for a series production, but their customers, as a matter of fact, felt like getting original, personal and unique watches. I read that one of the customers said something like: 'When I imagine I can meet a person wearing the same watch as mine in the first class of the airplane, it inspires me with awe'. So you can imagine that Roger Dubuis watches are unique indeed.

The watches from the collection are presented in different sizes and stand out due to the nobility of their parts, the exclusive design of their cases, as well as the darling use of a harmoniously curved elongated rectangular shape.
Speaking about design characteristics of the Too Much watch, I can't help mentioning it is made of 18 karat satin rose polished gold, while its dial is of white mother-of-pearl color. A certain chic is added by the delicately contrasting with the dial's background rose gold applied Paris numerals.
